Q. How do I transfer a caller to someone's voice mail without
ringing that persons phone first?
A. Press the VT Trans button on your phone followed by the station button you want
to transfer to. If you don’t have their station button you manually dial it on the
key pad then hang up.
Q. How do I make a conference call?
A. While on a call you press the button below the CONF in your upper left display
of your phone. This puts the caller on hold. Dial another number internal or outside
line. When you have that person on the phone you can press the button below CONF
in your display again and all parties and connected. You can to this till you have
a total of 5 people in the conference call.
Q. How do I program a personal speed dial number on my phone?
A. Press the TRANSFER button then dial 105 on keypad. Enter a personal speed dial
number location 00-49. Looking at your display on your phone you then enter a 9
to get an outside line. Then the number you want to store (up to 24 digits). Press
TRANSFER when done. This saves it. To USE you dial 16 (speed dial code) then the
memory location 00-49. It will automatically dial that number.
Q.How do I mute my handset or MIC on the phone when I am on a
call?
A. With a call in progress, look at the right side of your phones display. You will
see MUTE. Press the button below MUTE. You will see the word changes to lower case
(mute). Your handset and MIC are muted now. To unmute you press the button below
mute and it will change back to uppercase MUTE. This means your handset and MIC
are back on.
Q. I hear music coming over the speaker of my phone. How do I
turn it OFF?
A. While your phone is setting idle, not being used, press your HOLD button once.
This turns your BGM music on and off.
Q. Can I change the ring tone of my phone?
A. Press the transfer button then dial 111. Then dial on the keypad 1-8 for eight
different ring tones. Select the ring you want then press TRANSFER to save.
Q. How do I change date and time on a Samsung phone system
A.From any phone not in use press the following keys in order using the current
date and time as per the format defined. This will update every phone on the system.
